With more transistors, Apple claims the Apple M2 chip has an 18 percent increase in processor (CPU) performance, 35 percent graphics processing (GPU), and 40 percent Neural Engine compared to the M1 chip.

Despite the higher performance on paper, the M2 chip installed in the 2022 Macbook series is rocked to have a lower power consumption per watt than the M1 chip.

Just like the previous series, this laptop is also equipped with a 13-inch Liquid Retina Display, 2,560 x 1,600 pixels resolution with a peak brightness of up to 500 nits, Wide Color (P3) and True Tone technology support.

Interestingly, the front camera camera on this laptop has been increased to 1080p resolution. Even the front camera on the Macbook Pro 2022 only has a resolution of 720p.

For the price of the MacBook Pro 2022, the M2 chip is priced starting at $1,299 or IDR 18.7 million, with only Silver and Space Gray color options.
